India's medal tally at the Commonwealth Games 2026 is nearing the 40-mark. Currently it's 39 - 13 gold medals, 17 silver and nine bronze medals. Most of the medals have come from boxing, weightlifting, athletics and judo. Star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu started the gold medal quest for India while 10 boxers entered the final. Judokas also surprised all as Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh clinched gold medals. (CWG 2026 Medal Tally)

GOLD
1. Mirabai Chanu, Weightlifting (Women's 48kg): Secured her third consecutive CWG gold medal with a record-shattering total lift of 190kg (85kg Snatch + 105kg Clean & Jerk).
2. Sharmila Dhankar, Para Athletics (Women's Shot Put F57): Scripted history by clinching India's first-ever para-athletics gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.
3. Dilip Mahadu Gavit, Para Athletics (Men's 100m T47): A historic gold medal with a Games record timing of 10.71 seconds
4. Asmita Dey (women's 48kg judo): Asmita Dey became the first ever Indian judoka to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games as she produced a spirited comeback to clinch the women's -48kg title, defeating Canada's Heidi Quach in a dramatic golden score
5. Harsh Singh (men's 60kg judo): India's Harsh Singh delivered a sensational performance to win the gold medal in the men's -60kg judo event at the Commonwealth Games 2026, defeating Australia's Joshua Katz 10-0 in a one-sided final
6. Preeti Pawar (women's 54kg boxing): She claimed the gold with a dominant 5-0 victory over Canada's Scarlett Delgado in the women's 54kg category.
7. Jaismine Lamboria (women's 57kg boxing): She beat Northern Ireland's Michaela Walsh in the final, who was the defending champion in the women's 57kg.
8. Soman Rana (Men's F57 shot put): He clinched securing the country's first-ever gold medal in the event. An Indian Army havildar, he was once among the country's finest amateur boxers, finishing fifth at the National Championships in 2005. However, his sporting career took an unexpected turn in December 2006 when he lost a leg in a landmine blast while serving with the Gorkha Rifles along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
9. Sakshi Chaudhary (women's 51kg boxing): Sakshi produced a commanding display to win the gold medal in the Women's 51kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026, defeating England's Ruby White by a unanimous 5-0 decision.
10. Priya Ghanghas (women's 60kg boxing): Priya, sporting a tricolour gumshield, recovered from a slow start to beat Canada's Marie-Bathoul Al-Ahmadieh 4-1 in the final. Trailing 2-3 after the opening round, she unleashed a barrage of punches over the final two rounds to turn the contest around.
11. Arundhati Choudhary (women's 70kg boxing): Arundhati completed the women's boxing golden sweep with a unanimous 5-0 victory over England's world championship bronze medallist Chantelle Reid in the 70kg final.
12. Sachin Siwach (men's 60kg boxing): Sachin clinched a gold medal in the men's 60kg after edging Namibia's Tryagain Morni Ndevelo by a razor-thin 3-2 split decision in a gripping final.
13. Ankush Panghal (men's 80kg boxing): Ankush capped India's golden evening on Sunday with a composed 4-1 victory over England's Dimeji Shittu. Despite being booed by the home crowd, the Army boxer remained unfazed and boxed with discipline throughout.
SILVER
1. Rishikanta Singh, Weightlifting (Men's 60kg): Won India's first able-bodied medal at the 2026 Games, setting a Games record in the snatch section with a 121kg lift.
2. Muthupandi Raja, Weightlifting (Men's 65kg): Delivered a strong performance to lock in a podium finish with a combined total lift of 286kg.
3. Gyaneshwari Yadav, Weightlifting (Women's 53kg): Battled through a thrilling record-breaking contest to secure silver with a total lift of 199kg.
4. Valluri Ajaya Babu, Weightlifting (Men's 79kg): Continued India's lifting dominance by pushing through a competitive field to grab silver.
5. Sarvesh Kushare, Athletics (Men's High Jump): Became the first Indian athlete to win a silver medal in the men's high jump event at the Commonwealth Games.
6.  Harjinder Kaur, Weightlifting (Women's 69kg): Became the 7th weightlifter to win a medal for India
7. Gulveer Singh, Athletics (Men's 10,000m): He became the first Indian ever to win a medal in this event at the Commonwealth Games
8. Mohammed Basil (Men's 100m T47): A silver medal for the Indian athlete with a timing of 10.83 seconds
9. Murali Sreeshankar (Men's Long Jump): A back-to-back silver medal for the athlete at Commonwealth Games
10. Lovepreet Singh (Men's +110kg Category): Lovepreet Singh shattered the Commonwealth Games snatch record with a lift of 176kg but could only win the silver medal
11.  Yamini Mourya (women's 57kg judo): She secured a silver medal in the women's 57kg category at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after a closely contested final against England's Acelya Toprak ended in defeat
12. Neeraj Chopra (men's javelin throw): The 28-year-old Tokyo Olympics champion produced a season's best throw of 85.83m in his second attempt, which was good enough for a second place finish
13. Jadumani Singh (men's boxing 55kg) - He signed off with a silver medal in the men's 55kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Australia's Jye Dixon in a hard-fought final
14. Praveen Chitravel (men's triple jump) - Asian Games bronze medallist Chitravel bettered the effort in Glasgow with a silver, which he fetched covering a distance of 16.58m.
15. Shubham Juyal (Men's F57 shot put): He claimed silver in the men's F57 shot put final. Shubham's journey to the podium has been equally inspirational. The Roorkee native had aspired to become an Army officer like his father and had cleared the written examination for the Army Cadet College entry scheme in 2022. However, a devastating motorcycle accident that year resulted in the amputation of his leg, forcing him to abandon that dream.
16. Lovlina Borgohain (women's 75kg boxing): Tokyo Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain saw her wait for a maiden Commonwealth Games gold medal continue after settling for silver in the women's 75kg boxing event.
17. Narender Berwal (men's 90+kg boxing):  Narender Berwal secured the silver medal in the men's 90+ kg category after finishing runner-up to England's Damar Thomas in the final, capping off a historic campaign for Indian boxing.
BRONZE
1. Jhandu Kumar, Para Powerlifting (Men's Heavyweight): Opened India's overall medal account in Glasgow with a powerful best lift of 190kg.
2. Bindyarani Devi, Weightlifting (Women's 58kg): Claimed her second career CWG medal by lifting a total of 199kg.
3. Shilpa Shyla, Para Athletics (Women's Shot Put F57): Awarded the bronze medal following a successful formal appeal by the Indian contingent.
4. Seema Kaliramna, Athletics (Women's Discus Throw): Seema Kaliramna made three successive fouls but her third attempt of 58.65m was enough to clinch a bronze medal.
5. Yashvir Singh (men's javelin throw): Yashvir Singh produced the biggest surprise of the event, winning bronze with a personal best throw of 85.41m in his sixth and final attempt
