Raj Singh becomes first Indian to be elected Secretary General of Asian wrestling body
Raj Singh, who secured 20 votes, will hold office for four years. Chang Kew Kim was elected AAWC president after he got 23 votes.

Wrestling Federation of India Secretary General Raj Singh was on Tuesday elected Secretary General of Asian Associated Wrestling Council in the General Assembly of AAWC held in New Delhi.
Raj Singh, who becomes the first Indian to be elected as Secretary General of AAWC, will hold office for four years.
Chang Kew Kim was elected AAWC president after he got 23 votes. Raj secured 20 votes. 24 representatives from their respective Asian countries cast their votes. One vote was rejected, a release said today.
The last election was held at Pattaya in Thailand during the 2009 Asian Championships.
Meanwhile, the complimentary tickets for the upcoming Asian Wrestling Championship here will be available at Gate No. 7-A of I G Sports Complex here from April 18 to 22 from 11 am to 4pm.
