Satnam Singh Bhamara, who was picked by Dallas Mavericks in the NBA draft and later played in five pre-season games, wants the Indian government to help the game grow in the country.

Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle, newly hired Texas Legends head coach Nick Van Exel and Donnie Nelson (co-owner of Legends) once again reiterated the franchise's plan for Satnam Singh to play in the NBA D-League in order to gain more experience. The Legends are affiliated with Mavericks.
