Siraj dismissed Sooryavanshi in the third over, and GT never looked back after that. Rabada took 2 wickets, Rashid Khan then got 4 wickets, and Jason Holder finished things off with 3 scalps. As good a bowling performance you'll see from arguably the best bowling unit in IPL 2026.

Ravindra Jadeja continues his excellent start, slams a lovely late-cut for 4 against Sai Kishore. Normally one to make a cautious start, this is against the ordinary for the veteran all-rounder. Good news for RR, who are 3 wickets down and still face a required run-rate of over 11.

Left-arm spinner Sai Kishore has been brought in as the Impact Player by Gujarat Titans. Quite a surprise, as Gill had confirmed that Prasidh Krishna would make his comeback today. Perhaps a late call given the conditions and situation of the game.

What a start by Jadeja! 6 and 4 off his first 2 balls, as he spoils Rabada's over. He targets the space between deep square-leg and deep mid-wicket both times, and gets the results too.

GONE! Shimron Hetmyer fails again. He slams a boundary on the first ball of the over, mistimes another but that one falls safe, but luck doesn't favour him twice. The ball goes high up in the air, but Jason Holder is as safe as houses. Second wicket for Rabada!

Dhruv Jurel is off to a flier! He slams a massive 6 over mid-wicket, and guides it for 4 through third-man, and then clears the ropes with a firm pull for 6 more! 50 up for the Royals too. And 6 more, once again pulled over deep square-leg!

OUT! 2 wickets in 5 balls for GT! Rajasthan Royals' stand-in skipper Yashasvi Jaiswal has to go back to the hut. Kagiso Rabada with a sharp short ball, and it's a simple catch for Nishant Sindhu. 

Jaiswal is gone for 3. Trouble for RR after a flying start.

3 boundaries in 1 over! Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shows off his three versions. First a boundary devilishly hammered for 4 through cover, then one cheekily through third-man, and then a graceful 4 down the ground!

But Siraj strikes back! Catches out the 15-year-old with a short ball, he mistimes it, and it's caught at short fine-leg.

2 SIXES in a row! Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has put the injury scare behind him and gone after Kagiso Rabada! Short from Rabada, and Sooryavanshi pulls it for 6! Next shot appears to be a mishit, but he still clears deep mid-wicket with ease.

Sooryavanshi slams the ball onto his own foot, and is down on the ground in pain! A break in play as Sooryavanshi receives treatment. Looks like his ankle was bandaged beforehand, and he hurt the same area.

He is back on his feet, but clearly hobbling as he runs 2 next ball.

SIX first ball! Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hammers Mohammed Siraj over deep mid-wicket to complete a century of maximums in T20 cricket. Sooryavanshi becomes the fastest batter to hit 100 sixes in T20 cricket, beating Kieron Pollard.

We are back! Rajasthan Royals begin their run chase of 230, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi opening the batting. Mohammed Siraj will open the bowling for GT. Sooryavanshi is 1 six away from becoming the fastest batter to hit 100 sixes in T20s!

Shubman Gill suffered an injury scare but that didn't stop him from slamming 84 off just 44. Sai Sudharsan's 55 and Washington Sundar's 20-ball 37 also played a part in the big score. Jofra Archer had a night to forget, and RR stand-in captain Yashasvi Jaiswal did not even give him all 4 overs.

220+ has been chased down twice in Jaipur in the last 2 games here. Still, for RR to win, they'll have to script their highest-ever run chase!

3 sixes in the final over! Rahul Tewatia slams a flat 6 over deep square-leg as Deshpande misses his yorker, and then scoops it for 6 more over fine-leg. Washington Sundar slams another 6, but misses out on the final 2 balls.

Jaiswal's decision to back Deshpande over Archer for the final over doesn't work out.

Halfway stage in the Gujarat Titans innings, and the openers are yet to be dismissed. Ravindra Jadeja has slowed things down, though, with 2 economical overs. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is hobbling while running. This could be something more serious than just cramp.

Kumar Sangakkara is rarely an animated figure, but he was seen having an intense chat with the Rajasthan Royals unit after the powerplay. A big test for stand-in captain Yashasvi Jaiswal as well. Every game matters at this stage, with the playoffs race heating up.

Yash Raj Punja comes into the attack, and concedes only 10 runs, which is very good in comparison to the rest of the RR bowling today. Gill still manages a boundary, over short fine-leg.

Sai Sudharsan has made a positive start to his innings. He slams a boundary against Tushar Deshpande, who takes the new ball from the other end. Not a bad over from Deshpande, but he bowls a wide too. A lot of extras conceded by RR pacers at the start.

This is the first time that Yashasvi Jaiswal is captaining a full IPL game. Big moment for one of India's modern-day stars. The 24-year-old will have a tough task today, though, with Bishnoi not playing as well.

We are just about 5 minutes away from toss time at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, home of the Rajasthan Royals. The 2 matches there so far have been very high-scoring, but RR are yet to win there, failing to defend scores of 228 and 225.

Will it be third time lucky for the hosts?

Rajasthan Royals could drop the underperforming Nandre Burger, and try either countryman Kwena Maphaka or Adam Milne, or even bring back someone like Sandeep Sharma. 

GT axed Shahrukh Khan for Nishant Sindhu in the last game, who are likely to show trust in him again. It'll be interesting to see whether Prasidh Krishna returns.

West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder has been a revelation for Gujarat Titans. Coming into the playing XI midway into the tournament, Holder has made an instant impact with 7 wickets in 4 matches, including multiple 'Player of the Match' performances. 

Bought for Rs 7 crore in the IPL 2026 auction, Holder's signing looks to have been worth every penny.

A number of underrated stars could play a pivotal role today. Donovan Ferreira has been an unsung hero for RR this season, playing a number of explosive knocks down the order. For GT, pacer Mohammed Siraj's exploits have gone under the radar. If he manages to take the wicket of Jaiswal or Sooryavanshi, it could be a pivotal moment.

While RR have Jofra Archer, GT boast South Africa's Kagiso Rabada, who has arguably been as good as Archer. In fact, Rabada has 16 wickets so far, 1 more than Archer. 

Today's game could very well depend on which pacer performs better and takes wickets at crucial moments.

Rajasthan Royals pace spearhead Jofra Archer has taken 15 wickets in 10 games so far, striking fear into the opponents every game in the powerplay. He has arguably been the best pacer and most impactful overseas player in IPL 2026.

A number of players in action today are in the race for the Orange Cap (most runs). Currently, Heinrich Klaasen holds it with 494 runs. However, Soorayavanshi (404), Sai Sudharsan (385) and Shubman Gill (378) are close behind, and could realistically take it back from Klaasen with a big knock today.

Both Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans will be playing after fairly long breaks. GT are playing after 6 days, while RR last played 8 days ago. That should make players in both teams fresh and sharp for today's big clash.

No doubt that all eyes will be on RR's 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi today. The youngster seems to break records every time he touches a bat, and today could be no different. Sooryavanshi is just 1 six away from 100 sixes in T20 cricket.

But what makes it even more special is that he would break West Indies legend Kieron Pollard's record for the fastest player to hit 100 sixes in T20s!

Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, have pulled themselves back into the playoff race after a difficult start to the season. They're currently on a 3-game win-streak, and victory today would take them to at least the No. 2 spot.

Their worry is that they still have a negative NRR (-0.147).

For Rajasthan Royals, a win today could very well see them take the No. 1 spot in the IPL 2026 points table. Despite their topsy-turvy form of late (3 losses in last 5 games), they are only 2 points behind table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad. 

Boasting a healthy net-run-rate of +0.510, a big win could see them topple SRH's NRR of +0.737 and take top spot.
