We are into the final over of the game. Gujarat Titans need only five to win off the final six balls. Ramandeep Singh has been handed the duty to bowl the last one. Could be produce some magic for KKR? Let's see.

Kartik Tyagi was brought back into the attack and he ended up leaking 16 runs in the over. After Gill smashed the pacer for a six, Washington Sundar hit him for a four through fine leg. Gujarat Titans need 42 runs in 36 balls.

A fraction short from Kartik Tyagi and Shubman Gill has muscled it away for a six over the deep sqaure leg. He picked the length quite early, got into the position and pulled it away over the fence.

Sunil Narine finishes his quota of four overs with figures of 1 for 28. Gujarat Titans need 58 runs in 42 balls. They are well in control of this chase. The asking rate is slightly over eight and that won't concern GT.

Shubman Gill smashed Varun Chakravarthy for a four and a six. He played a lofted cut over the off-side fielder for the boundary and then smashed a six over long-off. Fifteen runs came off the over. Gujarat Titans need 62 runs from 48 balls.

Shubman Gill slams his half-century in 27 balls! This has been a superb knock from the Gujarat Titans captain. He looked in complete control from the word go and has kept finding boundaries at regular intervals. GT are 100/2 in 10.1 overs vs Kolkata Knight Riders.

OUT! Varun Chakaravarthy gets the wicket of Jos Buttler! It was a pitched up and Buttler found the long-on while trying to go for a maximum. Gujarat Titans are two down. They need 86 runs in 65 balls.

Another expensive over from Anukul Roy! He has been hit for two fours in his second over, leaking 12 runs in it. His figures read 0/32 after two overs. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is only six runs away from his fifty.

Sunil Narine nearly had his second wicket in this over. This was a fuller delivery from the spinner that spun into Jos Buttler. He played it with a big bat-pad gap and got an inside edge that narrowly missed the stumps and ran away for a four. The Powerplay ends here.

WICKET! Sunil Narine provides KKR with a much-needed breakthrough! Sai Sudharsan is out after scoring 22 off 16 balls. He tried to slam it on the leg side and ended up getting a top-edge on the ball.

A slower ball from Vaibhav Arora and Shubman Gill smashes it down the ground for a four. The Gujarat Titans captain read it well and lofted the ball powerfully for the boundary. It helps GT cross the 50-run mark.

Anukul Roy was brought into the attack and he ended up being smashed for three sixes. He leaked a total of 20 runs in the over. Shubman Gill started the over with a maximum before Sai Sudharsan smashed the spinner for two more.

This is some terrific batting from Shubman Gill! He smashed Kartik Tyagi for consecutive fours to end the second over. The first one was in the air but was safe through the left of mid-off and the second shot was a superb drive down the ground.

Vaibhav Arora concedes nine runs in his first over. Shubman Gill smashed him for a four through the extra cover on the fourth ball of the over. It was a cracking shot from the GT captain as he fround the gap between cover and mid-off fielders. Katik Tyagi will bowl from the other end.

Vaibhav Arora is ready with the new ball, Sai Sudharsan will face him. GT captain Shubman Gill is at the other end. Here we go... Arora started with a good length ball onto the legs of Sudharsan and the batter gets off the strike with a single.

That is a really good final over from Rashid Khan. He conceded only six runs in it and claimed the wicket of Cameron Green on the final delivery. On the other hand, the KKR batter scored 79 off 55, with the help of seven fours and four sixes.

18.2 - Kartik Tyagi has been run out! It was a good yorker from Prasidh Krishna. He beat Tyagi with it. As the batter was trying to stay inside the crease, non-striker Cameron Green ran and made it to the end. Kartik had no option left. He had to leave his crease and sacrifice his wicket for Green.

Mohammed Siraj has been smashed for a six by Kartik Tyagi. He tried to test the batter with a bouncer and ended up leaking the maximum. That went over the deep mid-wicket. Seven came off the over.

Sunil Narine is OUT! Smart bowling from Mohammed Siraj. He bowled it fuller outside off, well away from Narine's body. The KKR southpaw threw his bat to it and found a thick outside edge. Glenn Phillips took a stunning catch at backward point. KKR are eight down.

OUT! Ashok Sharma gets yet another wicket through a slower ball. It was bowled at 105.9 kmph. Ramandeep Singh smashed it across the line but failed to clear the fence. He found Mohammed Siraj to the wide of long-on.

OUT! Kagiso Rabada strikes again! Rinku Singh's lean patch continues as the batter registers his third consecutive single-digit score. Rabada came over the wicket and bowled a good length, angling away from Rinku. The KKR batted found an edge on it to the wicketkeeper.

Prasidh Krishna strikes! He gets the wicket of Anukul Roy. The partnership for the fifth wicket has been broken. Kolkata Knight Riders are five down. They are, however, still in a good position to cross 200, with Cameron Green solid at the other end.

Cameron Green slams his first half-century in IPL 2026! He gets there in 34 balls! This has been a fighting knock from the star player of Kolkata Knight Riders. He started the tournament poorly and was subjected to some heavy criticism due to his big price tag of Rs 25.2 crore. This knock, however, will help him gain confidence. KKR are 121/4 in 12.5 overs vs Gujarat Titans.

Rashid Khan tossed it up and Cameron Green took up the challenge. He jumped out of his crease and smashed that over the long-on for a biggie. Rashid dragged his length back a bit on the next ball and Green pulled it for a four through the gap between square leg and mid-wicket fielders in the deep. 16 came off the over.

Rovman Powell is OUT! Ashok Sharma has broken the 55-run partnership. The slower ball does the trick for him. Powell ended up finding a thick top edge and Mohammed Siraj took a really good catch running in from long-on.

This is a good sweep shot from Cameron Green for a four. Rashid Khan pitched it fuller outside off-stump and Green fetched it from there to score a boundary towards the square leg. He then took a single to retain strike. 11 came off Rashid's first over.

8.1 - That’s a fine start to the over for KKR. Prasidh Krishna goes short with the deep mid-wicket region vacant, and Cameron Green pounces on it, pulling the ball sweetly into the gap. It lands just short of the boundary rope, but Green still picks up a well-earned four.

Ashok Sharma was handed the ball and he was hit for 11 in his first over. Rovman Powell smashed the pacer for a SIX over deep mid-wicket before playing a cut shot through backward point for a four.

Prasidh Krishna bowled a fuller delivery and Rovman Powerll smashed it over the long-on for a maximum. He just lofted it with his powerful hands and the ball travelled a distance of 84 metres.

Gujarat Titans finish the Powerplay on a high, thanks to disciplined attack from Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj. The Indian pacer set the tone with the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane before Rabada piled up the pressure on KKR with two more scalps.

On the fourth delivery of the over, Mohammed Siraj bowled a bouncer and Cameron Green missed on his pull shot. The wicketkeeper grabbed the ball and an appeal for a caught behind followed. Umpire raised his finger but Green sent it upstairs. UltraEdge revealed that he hadn't edged the ball.

Tim Seifert is OUT! He has smashed the Kagiso Rabada delivery right into the hands of the fielder at point. It was a short ball with width on it, but Seifert failed to take advantage. He, instead, gifted his wicket on the delivery. Kolkata Knight Riders are in huge trouble.

Only three came off the second over of Mohammed Siraj. There was a bit of miscommunication in running on the final ball of the over, but KKR are lucky that they didn't lose any wicket in that.

Cameron Green comes in at No.4 but he has failed the bat gauge test. He is waiting for another willow as the we have a short delay in resumption... Okay, there! Green gets his bat, it passes the the test this time and we are good to continue.

Kagiso Rabada has picked the wicket of Angkrish Raghuvanshi! It was an expensive over from the South African pacer but he managed to claim a wicket on the final delivery to do some damage control.

Ajinkya Rahane falls for a first-ball duck! That is a big wicket for Mohammed Siraj in his very first over. It was a fuller ball outside off-stump from the right-arm pacer and Rahane ended up edging it high in the air. The mid-on took the catch.

Tim Seifert takes strike, with Ajinkya Rahane steady at the non-striker’s end. Mohammed Siraj has the new ball in hand. And we’re underway! Siraj starts with a probing good-length delivery that swings away outside the off stump, and Seifert gets right behind it in defence.

"Honestly, we would have bowled first. I always feel the weather is getting a bit hotter, so there might be some dew around. We haven't seen it in the past 3-4 matches that we've played, but as we get deeper into the tournament, with the weather getting hotter, there might be some dew. We got the same team," said GT captain Shubman Gill.

"We just want our batters to play freely, with freedom. The kind of tournament we've had so far, we've tried everything, chasing targets, batting first as well. I thought giving that freedom to the batters and then defending the total would be a good approach. We just want to focus on our strengths, play good cricket. T20 is all about momentum, winning small moments. Today, we just want to play fearless cricket and stay in the moment. Just one change. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and made a surprise call by opting to bowl first against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the toss, Rahane also confirmed that Finn Allen has been dropped, with Tim Seifert coming into the playing XI.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill informed that they are unchanged for the game.

Kolkata Knight Riders sent Sunil Narine to open alongside Finn Allen in their previous game, with captain Ajinkya Rahane pushing himself down to No. 3. While the opening combination did not quite click, Narine managed 24 off 17 balls. Will KKR be tempted to give the move another go?

Gujarat Titans got off to a poor start in IPL 2026, losing their opening two matches against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals. However, the side bounced back well, defeating Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants in the subsequent games. They now aim for a hat-trick of wins.
