Black Pearl Pele Graces the City of Joy With his Presence

Pele last came to Kolkata in 1977 when he toured with his club New York Cosmos.

Fans and media flocked to receive him at the airport as the Black Pearl visited the City of Joy.

The legend himself was not shy for the media either and was very forthcoming.

Chuni Goswami, arguably India's best footballer, is overjoyed at meeting the icon himself.

He waved and blew kisses to the people who thronged to see him, a clear sign of how easily he was going with the flow.

Pele will be rooting for Atletico de Kolkata when they face Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League on October 13.
