It started well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as Shikhar Dhawan (33) hit some nice boundaries after his team were put in to bat by Rajasthan Royals. However, after he fell to Shane Watson at the end of the fourth over, Rajasthan managed to pull things back for themselves.

The main highlight of the match despite Rajasthan's loss was their skipper Shane Watson claiming the second hat-trick in this year's IPL after teammate Pravin Tambe. Watson removed Shikhar Dhawan, Moises Henriques and Karn Sharma for a technical hat-trick as Hyderabad were sent reeling at 106/7 after 16.2 overs.

For Rajasthan, another notable bowling performance was that of Rajat Bhatia, who took three wickets for 23 runs in his four overs.

Irfan Pathan (21* off 21 balls) batted patiently after Hyderabad lost seven wickets in the 17th over to take his team to a respectable total of 134/9 at the end of 20 overs.

However, when Rajasthan came in to bat, they were in trouble very quickly as Ajinkya Rahane was sent back in the first over by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Later, Sanju Samson (16) hit Dale Steyn for some boundaries but after his dismissal, things started looking a little dicey for Rajasthan.

The bowler who won the match for Sunrisers Hyderabad was Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the young Indian pacer took four wickets for just 14 runs in his 4 overs, triggering a grand Rajasthan Royals collapse.

Dale Steyn also took two wickets in his four overs and gave away 31 runs and it was interesting to see 42-year old Pravin Tambe face the fiery fast bowler in the end.

All-rounder Steven Smith tried hard to get Rajasthan to Hyderabad's total of 134 somehow but he could not read a Dale Steyn delivery properly while attempting a six and was caught safely by Irfan Pathan. James Faulkner later gave Rajasthan some hope again but after his dismissal, Hyderabad were in the drivers seat.
