Ambati Rayudu Slams Maiden ODI Ton as India Take 2-0 Lead vs Sri Lanka

Virat Kohli leads India out on to the field in Ahmedabad as Sri Lanka chose to bat in the second ODI.
Umesh Yadav drew first blood, removing Sri Lankan opener Kusal Perera early.
Dilshan was bowled by Akshar Patel as Sri Lanka slumped to 55/2 vs India in the second ODI.
Akshar starred with two wickets and gave away only 39 runs in his 10 overs.
Angelo Mathews stemmed the rot and stitched a good partnership with Kumar Sangakkara to help Sri Lanka towards a good total.
Kumar Sangakkara scored 61 to frustrate India, who had struck crucial blows early in the Sri Lankan innings.
Mathews remained unbeaten on 92 as Sri Lanka posted 274 on the board, a total that had looked a far cry.
Chasing 275 to win, India were jolted early when Dhammika Prasad removed Ajinkya Rahane in the seventh over.
Shikhar Dhawan however stood strong against some disciplined Sri Lankan bowling early on to unleash a flurry of good shots later.
Ambati Rayudu, who was promoted up the order at number three also weathered the early storm and settled down to play a great knock.

Rayudu and Dhawan added 122 runs for the second wicket to hand India a strong platform to successfully chase down 275.
After Dhawan was dismissed for 79, Virat Kohli came out and hammered 49 and shared a 116-run stand for the third wicket with Rayudu.
Rayudu celebrates his maiden ODI hundred for which he was named Man of the Match.
