Jharkhand girls beat Assam in sub-junior hockey tournament

Reshma Soren scored twice for Jharkhand as they defeated hosts Assam 6-0 on the third day of the Hockey India Sub-Junior Women's National Championship (East Zone) in Nagaon, Assam on Friday.
Jharkhand registered their second win in the championship.
In Pool B, Odisha beat Manipur 9-0. Anjila Minz scored maximum number of three goals while Elima Minz, Manju Lakra and Priyanka Ekka scored twice each for their teams victory.
Results:
Pool A: Jharkhand 6 (Reshma Soren 6, 39, Divya Dung Dung 13, Betan Dung Dung 33, Sitamani Topno 48 and Own Goal 57) beat Assam 0.
Pool B: Odisha 9 (Anjila Minz 8, 12, 45, Elima Minz 16, 25, Manju Lakra 31, 62 and Priyanka Ekka 35, 60) beat Manipur 0.
