New Delhi:
The much-awaited India-Pakistan home and away hockey test series will kick off with the first match at Karachi on September 25.
The Indian team will reach Karachi a day before the first of the four games to be played in Pakistan.
India will also hold as many games on a reciprocal tour later. The series is being revived after almost five years after it was suspended because of political tension.
The final dates for the rest of the three matches to be played in Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore will be finalised in consultation with the IHF.
Meanwhile, IHF would shortlist the venues for the four matches from a list that includes New Delhi, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
