Bangladesh delivered a major blow to China by defeating them 3-2 on the third day of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2 Delhi 2013 played on Wednesday at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.

Bangladesh delivered a major blow to China by defeating them 3-2 on the third day of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2 Delhi 2013 played on Wednesday at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
The Bangladesh team played an attacking game since the beginning of the match. In the 5th minute of the game Md. Mamunur Rahman Chayan from Bangladesh took advantage of the penalty corner and converted it into the first goal for his team. Later in the 34th minute Mohammad Moinul Islam and in the 50th minute Pushkor Khisa converted second and third goal for Bangladesh to keep their team on the winning streak.
In reply, Yubo Na from China scored in the 11th minute and skipper Mi Ji converted the second goal for China in the 27th minute of the game.
Mahmud Rashel from Bangladesh was declared Player of the Match.
