Kuala Lumpur:
India has finished fifth out of six teams in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament in Malaysia.
The team avoided a wooden spoon finish after beating hosts Malaysia 2-1. Olympic champions Australia successfully defended their title, coming from behind to beat Korea 4-3 while Pakistan finished third.
Pakistan who missed out on the final after losing to Malaysia in their last league game finished third defeating New Zealand 4-2.
Aussies shine
South Korea looked to be coasting towards a win over defending champions Australia. They were leading 3-1 by the 38th minute.
However Australia proved just why they are the Olympic champions. A brilliant fight back allowed them to equalise at 3-3.
Craig Victory then scored the golden goal off a deflection in the 11th minute of extra time.
