Jeju (Korea):

The Indian trio of Jyoti Randhawa, SSP Chowrasia and Shiv Kapur came unstuck in blustery conditions and returned poor second round cards to miss the cut in the Ballantine's Championship golf tournament on Friday.

Veteran Gaurav Ghei (143) carded two-over 74 to lie tied 34th and Digvijay Singh (144), at tied 42nd, managed to make the cut in the $2.1 million event co-sanctioned by European and Asian Tours.

Ghei managed just one birdie, as against three bogeys, in his round while Digvijay was the lone Indian to bring home a sub-par card, mixing four birdies and three bogeys in his round at the Pinx Golf Club.

Randhawa (149) had a terrible day out there with just two birdies to show as against three bogeys and a couple of double bogeys.

Shiv Kapur (146) triple bogeyed the seventh hole and still would have made the cut but for the final hole bogey during his round of 75.

For Chowrasia (150), nothing went right as the Kolkata pro hit three birdies, while dropping six bogeys and a couple of double bogeys to return 79.

Dutch pro Robert-Jan Derksen (135) carded 69 to grab the halfway lead with Thongchai Jaidee (71) and Wook-Soon Kang (69) trailing him two strokes behind.
