Veteran Indian golfer Rahil Gangjee carded a flawless four-under 66 to be three shots off the clubhouse lead on a rain-affected opening day of the Jakarta International Championship in Jakarta.
Other Indians making the cut were Himmat Rai (71-70) and S Chikkarangapppa (70-71) were tied 27th, while SSP Chawrasia (73-70) was tied-39th and Chiragh Kumar (73-72)
Other Indians in the fray are Chiragh Kumar, who made the cut last week in Austria, one-time Asian Tour winner Himmat Rai, two-time winner on Asian Development Tour S Chikkarangappa, Shubhankar Sharma, Khalin Joshi and Amardip Malik
Rahil Gangjee finished tied-seventh in the Mauritius Open as South Korean Wang Jeunghun secured the title. Jyoti Randhawa and Rashid Khan finished in 12th and 27th respectively.
Shiv Kapur closed in on the lead in the Panasonic Open Golf championship while Jeev Milkha Singh and Rahil Gangjee made the cut.
Rahil Gangjee is the only Indian in the top 20 with total earnings of $80,882 this season.
Himmat Rai carded a total of two-under 282 (70-69-73-70) at the Singapore Open.
Rahil Gangjee scored birdies on the fifth, 10th and 18th holes to trail co-leaders Keith Horne of South Africa and Berry Henson by two strokes.
Rahil Gangjee finished with a four-day total of 12-under 276 -- three strokes behind champion Natipong Srithong of Thailand, who scored 67 on the final day at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club.
Rahil Gangjee was four shots behind the leading trio of Chinese Taipei's young guns Hung Chien-yao and Lee Chieh-po and South Africa's Jbe Kruger. Jyoti Randhawa carded two-over 74 in the second round.
