Farmingdale (New York):
Battling a muscle injury and struggling to get going at the soggy Bethpage Black, Jeev returned to complete his unfinished opening round.
Starting at five-over after eight holes, he birdied the ninth and tenth to bounce back but spoilt the good work on the par-four 12th hole that cost him three strokes. He was also undone by seven bogeys overall.
Players with the lowest 60 scores and ties and those within 10 strokes of the leader are expected to make the cut. In his all previous outings he had played all four rounds of the tournament.
