It was rough weather for golf, as 90-degree heat smothered the sun-baked Westchester Country Club. Vijay Singh had his share of troubles, including a missed par putt on the 8th hole. Moments later Harrington did convert his eagle putt to move to 9 under, one stroke off the pace. Furyk left a lot of stroke out on the back nine. His approach shot on the 10th hole landed just a few feet from the cup, but he didn't convert the birdie, and remained at 10 under. Meanwhile, Harrington's tee shot on the 14th hole set up a birdie to get to 8 under par, two strokes off the pace. Brad Faxon helped his final position with a very long birdie putt on the 17th hole. He finished at 5 under, in a three way tie for third. The Furyk collapse was compete, after a bogey on 16, he missed a five foot par putt for bogey on 17. That dropped him into a tie with Harrington for the lead at 8 under par heading to the finishing hole. That's where the final drama played out, as Harrington holed the 65-footer - his second eagle putt of the day - to clinch the victory. (AP)
