Rahil Gangjee missed the cut by two shots after carding a roller-coaster one-under 71 in the second round of the Nationwide Tour's Mexico Open golf tournament here.
The double bogey on the par-three seventh proved costly after Gangjee had birdied the second, eighth, 10th and 18th. The Indian finished with a total of two-over 146.
Matthew Giles (72) of Australia and local favourite Nicholas Thompson (68) and Oscar Fraustro (65) of Mexico share the lead at 11-under midway through the third round, which was halted due to darkness.
