Pacific Palisades:
Chad Campbell of the United States shot a 65 to take the provisional lead after a rain-affected second day at the Nissan Open in Pacific Palisades California on Friday.
The 30 year-old Texan stands at nine under par after completing his second round, two shots clear of the 2001 winner, Robert Allenby of Australia.
But they were the lucky ones.
Overnight leader Brian Davis of England didn't even get to start his second round. Following a four-hour delay in the morning, bad light brought the day's play to a premature end. (AP)
