Anirban Lahiri, SSP Chowrasia in Contention for Best Golfer Award
Indian ace golfer Anirban Lahiri broke into the top-40 after winning the Malaysian Open.

Ace golfer Anirban Lahiri, experienced SSP Chowrasia and talented Rashid Khan will vie for the prestigious Best Golfer award during the second edition of the Take Solutions India Golf Awards on February 16.(Lahiri Says Confidence Has Been Made Bullish)
In the best female golfer category, Neha Thripathi, Simi Mehra, Vani Kapoor, Ankita Tiwana and Sharmila Nicolet made it to the final cut, according to a release received on Thursday.(Lahiri Wins Malaysian Open)
This year the Jury was led by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson and conducted by a team of golf veterans that included Arjuna Awardee and former golf champion Ashok Malik, professional tour golfer Gaurav Ghei and Champika Sayal of Women's Golf Association of India.(Lahiri Breaks in Top-40)
The awards will see S. Chikkarangappa, Khalin Joshi and Shubhankar Sharma take on each other for the best rising golfer in the male category.
Shweta Galande, Vaishavi Sinha and Gursimar Budhwal will be fighting for the same title in the female section.
