Formula One Legend Michael Schumacher's Son, Mick, On Verge of Ferrari-Linked Team Contract
Michael Schumacher drove for Ferrari for 11 years winning five Formula One titles with them. Now, his son, Mick, is close to completing a move to Ferrari-linked junior team, Prema.

Legendary Formula One driver Michael Schumacher's son, Mick, is following his dad's path and is close to completing a move to Ferrari-linked Italian junior team -- Prema. Schumacher Senior won five of his seven F1 drivers' titles with Ferrari during his 11-year stay between 1996-2006.
Mick, who drives for the Dutch team Van Amersfoort in the German F4 series, is keen on taking part in the Italian series next year and is in talks with Prema junior team. Mick, 16, made his single-seater debut in the German F4 series in 2015.
Prema founder Angelo Rosin is expected to meet with Mick's manager Sabine Kehm this month to discuss the deal. Mick is also linked with a move to his uncle Ralf Schumacher's new team, HTP Junior Team.
Michael Schumacher, who turned 47 on January 3, retired from Formula One in 2012 having won the last of his seven world titles in 2004. He is recovering at the family home in Switzerland after being left with a serious head injury following a skiing accident two years ago.
