Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo, who finished 13th despite starting ninth in the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix here, said he somehow did not get the required pace out of his car to challenge others.
"It's been a strange weekend for me and I am a little confused about today's race. I was lacking pace and we are not sure why. There was nothing that felt especially wrong but we just couldn't get any pace out of the car," Ricciardo said after Sunday's race. (Hamilton Wins in Canada)
The Australian added that there were a few set-up changes to his car but is not sure why his car lacked speed at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
"I had a few set-up changes compared to Dany (teammate Daniil Kvyat) but that doesn't explain the difference in pace. It is something we will look at to understand what the cause was," said the 25-year-old.
The next race will be held in Spielberg in Austria on June 21.
