Corinna, wife of F1 legend Michael Schumacher, has reportedly sold his private jet and a holiday home. She is believed to have felt that her husband is unlikely to make use of them since his nearly fatal skiing accident in December of 2013. Schumacher is currently making slow progress from a serious brain injury.
According to German media reports, Corinna has sold the private jet for 25 million euros while the selling price of the holiday home in Norway is not yet known. It is also reported that a chalet in the French Alps may be the next to be put out for sale.
It was previously reported that Schumacher's weekly medical bill is close to 100,000 pounds. Although unable to speak or walk, the legendary F1 star is receiving round-the-clock medical treatment in a custom-built clinic in his mansion in Gland, Switzerland. In addition to the medical professionals, there are several other caretakers as well. The tight security officials ensure no cameras, cellphones and recording devices are permitted inside the premises.
