Rome:
Roma captain Francesco Totti is hoping to renew his contract with the club as soon as possible and has not ruled out making an Italy comeback for next year's World Cup.
Totti has spent his entire career at Roma and there was a party atmosphere at the club's training ground as players celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Serie A debut on Thursday.
Totti's contract runs out next year and the 36-year-old says he will talk to Roma owner James Pallotta when the American arrives next week, but he is happy "the club is showing confidence in me."
Totti is wary of returning to the national side but adds that if he feels fine he will talk to Italy coach Cesare Prandelli "and we will make a decision."
