Real Madrid mid-fielder James Rodriguez has been diagnosed with muscle injury in his right leg after taking medical tests.
Real Madrid said in a statement on Monday that Rodriguez "has been diagnosed with a grade 1 muscle injury in his right calf", reports Xinhua.
But the Spanish La Liga giants have not indicated how long they expect Rodriguez to be out.
The 23-year-old Colombian hurt his leg during Saturday's win over Celta Vigo.
Real Madrid play Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday and Almeria in the domestic league Friday before starting the Club World Cup on December 16.
Real Madrid signed Rodriguez this summer after his superb World Cup performance. The Colombian has scored nine goals in 24 games Madrid has played across all competitions.
