Paris:

Lyon drew 0-0 with ten-man Paris Saint-Germain on Friday and now lead Lille by four points at the top of the French Ligue 1. In a game of few chances, PSG defender Mario Yepes was sent off for a second yellow card in the 23rd minute, and his coach Vahid Halilhodzic was sent from the bench soon after. Lyon, unbeaten so far this season, topped the table with 32 points coming into the game, chasing a fourth successive title. PSG, on the other hand, have been struggling in mid-table. The first clear chance of the game fell to Lyon's Sylvain Wiltord. Goalless draw Wiltord's shot was parried by Lionel Litizi, and Florent Malouda wasted the rebound. PSG defender Mario Yepes didn't help his team's cause, sent off for a second bookable offence in only the 22nd minute - Wiltord making the most of the challenge, it must be said. And visiting coach Vahid Halilhodzic was sent into the stands soon after, as the game threatened to descend into farce. Sadly, the sending off only served to close the game up. There were one or two half chances at either end, but nothing clear cut - and the match meandered to a goalless draw. A useful result for PSG, then - they move up to eighth. Lyon, who are undefeated in the league since May, now have 33 points, Lille have 29, and Auxerre are third with 25. (AP)
