Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses will no longer make his Nigeria debut on Tuesday against Kenya in a friendly in Abuja, officials announced.
Nigeria Football Federation spokesman Ademola Olajire said in a statement that Moses has returned to his base in England along with West Bromwich Albion striker Osaze Odemwingie.
Moses was first set to feature for Nigeria in a friendly against Sierra Leone last month but preferred to stay away as his agent insisted he would only consider official games for his player.
The Kaduna-born player was then called up for a 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on Sunday in Abuja but was later dropped as he was yet to be cleared by FIFA to switch allegiance to Nigeria having represented England at Under-17 and Under-21 levels.
The Wigan forward trained with the Nigeria squad all of last week and assistant coach Simon Kalika expressed hope he could still feature for the Super Eagles in Tuesday's friendly against Kenya at the Abuja National Stadium.
