Barcelona's Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain were the spearhead of the Uruguay squad called up on Wednesday by coach Oscar Tabarez for friendlies with Costa Rica and Chile in November.
Suarez is currently serving a nine-match ban from official international matches after biting Giorgio Chiellini in the World Cup clash with Italy in June, but is able to appear in friendlies.
