Lionel Messi has arrived at the hotel Leela Palace in Chanakyapuri, Delhi. At the hotel, he will be resting for a while and then participating in a Meet and Greet session. Many fans and some big names will be arriving at the Leela Palace before Messi leaves for the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Lionel Messi landed at the Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport around 2:30pm, and straightaway proceeded to the Leela Palace Hotel where he will have a Meet and Greet session for around an hour with a select group of people. His final set of engagements includes an appearance at the Arun Jaitley Stadium for a ticketed event and a photo-shoot programme at Purana Qila before leaving for the airport for the return to Miami, his current base.

Lionel Messi, who was in Mumbai for the second day of his three-day whirlwind trip to India, was to land in the national capital earlier this morning but his charter flight was held up due to foggy conditions in New Delhi.

Great news for all the Lionel Messi fans in New Delhi. The 2022 FIFA World Cup-winner's Mumbai flight will take-off at 12 PM. He is then expected to arrive in New Delhi by 2 PM. 

After his arrival in Delhi, Lionel Messi was reportedly expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, that meet is now off the cards as PM Modi has already left the country for his visit to Jordan. 

It was a memorable day for cricket and football fans alike present at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium as Argentina football icon Lionel Messi graced the venue with his presence as a part of his 'GOAT India Tour' 2025 and met Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri and country's 'Bharat Ratna', the cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar.

Uh Ho!! A news coming in by NDTV's reporter from the airport. Lionel Messi's flight from Mumbai to Delhi has been delayed. The Argentina football great was scheduled to board his Delhi flight at 9:15 AM but it has now been delayed.
