Quito:

Elkin Murillo scored twice in the first 12 minutes and Enrique Vera and Moises Candelario added goals in Liga Universitaria de Quito's 4-0 victory over Colombia's Atletico Nacional in the Copa Libertadores. Murillo opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a right-footed blast that sailed past goalkeeper Andres Saldarriaga. The striker scored another goal two minutes later on a pass from Edison Mendez on the right side of the box. In the 63rd minute, Vera took advantage of a poorly executed deflection of a free kick by Vladimir Marin and, from midfield, sent the ball into the left side of the net. Candelario, who entered the game as a replacement for Murillo, offered a shot from mid-distance that struck the upper-left corner of the net beyond Saldarriaga's reach. (AP)
