Shinji Kagawa will not travel to Singapore for Japan's friendly against Brazil after showing symptoms of a concussion, the Japan Football Association said following Friday's 1-0 win over Jamaica.
The JFA said Kagawa was hit in the jaw during the first half and bled from his mouth but stayed in the game until the 90th minute. He started feeling dizzy after the game and was taken to hospital for tests.
The team departs for Singapore on Saturday morning, but the Dortmund midfielder will not accompany the team.
Kagawa suffered a concussion in August in his last game for Manchester United.
