Having lost all their three matches, India take on favourites Brazil in the last encounter of the BRICS U-17 football tournament in Goa on Thursday.
India, on the whole, have put up good performances and matched Russia, South Africa and China in parts but lacked the finishing when it mattered the most.
They play against fancied Brazil who are leading the table with a 100 percent win record so far in the tournament.
India's coach Nicolai Adam is happy the way his boys played against Russia and South Africa but was unhappy in the last match against China.
"The  boys proved their competitiveness in the tournament. Although the team is still a work in progress and not the final result. We matched equally against Russia and South Africa and had our boys capitalise the chances that came their way the result would be different.Â
"That is a good sign as the boys are preparing for next year's U-17 World Cup which will me more tough. But against China, I was little disappointed as some of our key players lost composure and could not utilise the chances that came their way in the match we dominated and should have won," stated Adam.
"Tomorrow against Brazil it is important as it will prove our competitiveness and it is going to be a learning lesson for the boys who play against a team of high quality football. It's a good opportunity to learn from them who have high individual quality and play one touch football," he added.
