Carlos Costly's second goal of the match came in injury time and was the deciding factor as Honduras pulled off the upset of the tournament by defeating four-time Gold Cup champion Mexico 2-1 on Sunday.

The victory kept Honduras chances of making the quarter finals alive in the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition.

They are now tied with Mexico for second in Group C after recording a victory and a loss.
Panama took the group lead with four points after drawing two-all with Cuba.

One of the deciding factors in the match came when Mexican striker Cuauht?moc Blanco, who scored their only goal, was given a red card in the 49th minute after elbowing Jorge Samuel Caballeros.

The red card will force Blanco to miss Mexico's next match against Panama on Wednesday.
