France forward Antoine Griezmann's sister was able to escape the Bataclan concert hall unhurt after the terror attacks here.
The capital city was rocked by the attacks on Friday and 127 people lost their lives.
Griezmann turned out for his country at the Stade de France in a friendly against Germany while his sister was at the concert.
More than 100 of those deaths are believed to have taken place at the Bataclan concert hall where music lovers were held hostage at gun point, according to media reports.
The 24-year-old Griezmann took to Twitter on Saturday morning to say that his sister was caught in the middle of the terror strike but later posted that she was safe.
"Big thought for the victims of the attacks. God takes care of my sister and the French," Griezmann tweeted.
"Thank God my sister was able to exit the Bataclan. All my prayers go to the victims and their families," he posted three hours after the attacks.
