FIFA Under 20: Argentina beats Nigeria

Tournament standout Lionel Messi has converted two penalties to lead Argentina to a 2-1 victory over Nigeria in FIFA Under 20 competition.

Tournament standout Lionel Messi has converted two penalties to lead Argentina to a 2-1 victory over Nigeria in the final of the World Youth Championship and give his country a record fifth title. The double strike from the penalty spot also turned the Barcelona midfielder into the top scorer in the competition with six goals. Nigeria was seeking Africa's first title in FIFA's Under 20 competition.
