Inter Milan defender Ivan Ramiro Cordoba will miss the second leg of the Italian Cup final against AS Roma on May 11.

Milan:

Inter Milan defender Ivan Ramiro Cordoba received a two-match suspension for hitting an opponent and will miss the second leg of the Italian Cup final against AS Roma on May 11. Cordoba was punished by the Italian league disciplinary commission on Thursday on the basis of television footage showing the Inter defender hitting Leandro Cufre in AS Roma's area during Wednesday's first leg at Stadio Olimpico. The referee had missed Cordoba's misbehavior. Roma will be without suspended defender Philippe Mexes and Brazilian forward Rodrigo Taddei in the second leg at San Siro. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw on goals by Julio Ricardo Cruz and Amantino Mancini. (AP)
