David Beckham has been ruled out for the next month because of an injury.
The LA Galaxy captain hurt his knee in Wednesday night's Superliga final against Mexican champions Pachuca.
He is expected to be out of action for four to six weeks.
A final decision on how long Beckham is out will be made after a scan on Friday.
That means the former England captain will definitely miss his next two qualifying matches and to add insult to injury Beckham's galaxy side went onto lose the final 4-3 on penalties.
