FULL TIME! Barcelona are La Liga 2025-26 champions! The Blaugrana clinch a dominant 2-0 victory, and for the first time, a side has sealed the La Liga title in an El Clasico. A night to forget, and a season to forget for Real Madrid.

10 minutes of regular time left. Barcelona on the verge of sealing the La Liga title in an El Clasico for the first time ever.

74' Trent Alexander-Arnold swings one in from the left, Tchouameni flicks it on with a header, which takes a deflection off Raphinha and goes behind for another corner. Trent delivers another one in, but Pau Cubarsi manages to get it away after a couple of awkward bounces.

51' Oh dear! Raul Asencio comes in with a hard tackle to stop a Barcelona attack, and that leads to a heated spat between the players of both teams. Vinicius Jr is in the thick of it, as the captain of Real Madrid today. The referee manages to separate the two sides in the end, and cautions Asencio.

We are back! The second half is underway at the Camp Nou. Real Madrid are 2 goals behind the hosts. Barcelona are 45 minutes away from a historic El Clasico victory and their 29th La Liga title.

Despite being comfortably the second-best team so far, Real Madrid will take encouragement from the fact that they've still managed to create 2-3 chances against the Barcelona high line. If they manage to get an early goal in the second half, it would be game on!

HALF TIME! Barcelona walk off the pitch as comfortably the better side, and they have a 2-goal advantage. Rashford gave the lead with a superb free-kick, while Ferran doubled it soon after. Madrid have had a few half-chances, but Barcelona's directness has caught them out multiple times. 

As it stands, Barcelona are going to wrap up the La Liga title against their arch-rivals Real Madrid, which would be a first in El Clasico history.

Madrid looking to fight back and they'll certainly get chances due to Barcelona's high line.

18' GOAL! Barcelona double the advantage! The attack is relentless and the Blaugrana cut open the Madrid defense with ease. A cross in from the left, Olmo with a backheel to lay it off for Ferran Torres who finishes with aplomb.

However, Los Blancos defend well and then launch an attack. Brahim looks to send Gonzalo through, but the striker takes a poor touch and loses control of the ball.

A minute later, Barcelona attack again, but this time it's Raul Asencio who recovers and makes a superb tackle! Remember, Asencio came in last-minute after Dean Huijsen felt discomfort during warm-up.

We are just about 10 minutes away from kick-off at the majestic Camp Nou in Barcelona. An El Clasico with the La Liga title on the line. 2 sides depleted by injuries, but the stakes could not be higher and the storylines could not be more dramatic.

Tonight could be Alvaro Arbeloa's last 'big' game in charge of Real Madrid. He has fared hot and cold in the blockbuster matches, beating the likes of Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, but losing to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Today's result could play a huge role in how Arbeloa is remembered by the Real Madrid faithful, if he is not retained as head coach after the season ends.

Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe, 2 of the best players in the world, are not going to be in action today. Yamal has suffered a season-ending hamstring injury, and is in a race against time to get fit for the FIFA World Cup in June. On the other hand, Mbappe failed to recover in time for the match, amid increasing criticism from fans over his performances.

Real Madrid need to shake off all the drama that encapsulated the club during the week. Fede Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni were disciplined after being involved in a training ground bust-up, leaving Valverde with a traumatic head injury. Tchouameni is playing tonight, though.

Further unconfirmed reports suggested that Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Carreras also clashed, while club captain Dani Carvajal and manager Alvaro Arbeloa are reportedly not on good terms.

For Real Madrid, it is an equally big game. La Liga may be a foregone conclusion, but Los Blancos still have a chance to avoid their bitter rivals from winning it against them. After a hectic week where they have grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons, nothing would help Alvaro Arbeloa and co. than a victory.

It could be a memorable night for Barcelona. They are 11 points ahead of Real Madrid in La Liga, with 4 games to go. Victory over their biggest rivals tonight would seal La Liga for the second time in a row. It could not get bigger for Hansi Flick's side.
