Veteran American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has joined Everton on a short-term deal, the Premier League side confirmed on Friday.

Veteran American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has joined Everton on a short-term deal, the Premier League side confirmed on Friday.

The 39-year-old former Wolves goalkeeper has signed with the Toffees until January after being released by Wanderers earlier this year.

Hahnemann, capped nine times by the United States, has been hired as back-up to compatriot Tim Howard and Jan Mucha.
