French rider Lloyd Mondory has been banned for four years for testing positive for EPO. (Read more sports stories here)
The International Cycling Union said the 33-year-old Mondory cannot race until March 2019, reports Xinhua.
Mondory tested positive for EPO, a banned blood-boosting hormone, in an out-of-competition sample taken in February.
He had no major race wins riding for the French team Ag2r-La Mondiale since 2004.
