Blessing Muzarabani starts with a short-pitched delivery first up, around the ribcage of Young and the batter looks to negate this with a nudge around square leg. It flies straight to backward point, where Brian Bennett takes another sharp catch. Heartbreak for Conway as he misses out on a well-deserved century and walks back for 88. Henry Nicholls backs away and tries to cut again but this time gets a bit cramped up and fails to get the elevation. He ends up hitting it much flatter and straight into the hands of Brian Bennett at backward point, who makes no mistake. Nicholls fails to convert his start, and the Kiwis are two down now.  158/2

47.4 OUT! TAKEN! A fantastic catch at slip! Sikandar Raza flights this one up, full and on off, gets it to turn away a bit. Rachin Ravindra strides out to defend but gets an outside edge. Craig Ervine at first slip fumbles a bit, but then shows sharp reflexes to dive to his left and grabs it with his outstretched left hand on the second attempt. Ravindra falls cheaply, and New Zealand are 164/3, leading by 15 runs.  163/3

O'Rourke pitches it up and bowls it in the fifth stump line, enticing the batter to go for a drive from there. Nick Welch comes forward as he sees a full-length ball and looks to drive it on the up, but plays it a bit away from his body. The ball gets some drift off the deck and catches the thin outside edge of the bat. The keeper, Tom Blundell, does the rest behind the wickets, as he moves a bit to his right and pouches it around his waist height. Vincent Masekesa gets cramped up as the ball follows him. He tries to get away from it by bringing his bat in front of his left shoulder but gets a bit late. The ball hits him on the gloves and lobs up towards short leg. Rachin Ravindra is alert over there as he moves forward, full stretch and plucks it just above the ground. A pretty good catch with good reflexes and the nightwatchman has to walk back.  53/4

39.1 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The skipper delivers for the Kiwis. Floated down the leg, Sean Williams, on 49, sees this as an opportunity to flick this around fine leg and bring up his half-century. But Sean only manages to get the inside half off the bat, and the ball is caught by the keeper, Tom Blundell, to his right behind the stumps. This is a stunning take from the Kiwi keeper as he was blinded till the last second, and it took a big deviation off the inside edge. Zimbabwe are five down now.  110/5

Craig Ervine though covers the line and looks to block this, but the away movement on this generates an outside edge and Tom Blundell, the keeper, behind the stumps, does the rest. Short-pitched, on middle and off, Sikandar Raza doesn't get the space to free his arms, but still goes through with the pull as he tries to be a bit aggressive here to counter-attack rather than blocking. Gets a leading top edge that hangs high over the fielder at square leg. Rachin Ravindra settles well underneath it and takes it with ease. Sikandar Raza departs for 5(22). 67.1 OUT! CAUGHT! DONE! Zimbabwe have been bowled out for 165 and New Zealand need just eight runs to win the game. Santner tosses it up and keeps it around off, Tafadzwa Tsiga gets down on his knee and looks to go for a big lofted shot downtown, but the ball is slow and too close to his body. Generates a top edge that goes in the air towards cover point, where Devon Conway moves to his left and goes to catch it low around his knee height, but fails to grab it in the first attempt. The ball lobs up, and Conway manages to snatch it and grab it on the second attempt. Santner smiles there, having his hands on his head, as he would have believed that it would also go down, but Devon manages to take it, and Zimbabwe have managed a lead of just 7 runs.  165/10

49.3 OUT! TIMBER! Too good delivery for a number 9. Bowled much slower, around off, angling in but straightening after pitching on off. Newman Nyamhuri plays for the one coming in with the angle, but the ball goes straight past the outside edge and uproots the off-pole of Newman Nyamhuri. Zimbabwe are eight down and they are still trailing by 32 runs, on the brink of an innings defeat here. Also, Blessing Muzarabani comes out to bat next.  126/8

63.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Zimbabwe are nine down and Mitchell Santner gets his third! Santner tosses it up and keeps it much slower than the previous ones and pitches it just outside off, in the arc to tempt the batter. Blessing Muzarabani stays leg side of the ball, clears out his front leg and swings for the hill. He is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball and thus gets a top edge that goes high up in the air towards cover, where Ajaz Patel calls for it instantly this time, settles underneath it and takes it. A good catch to end this growing partnership.  162/9

But the ball is close to his body and thus, he gets a bottom edge and the ball has gone on to uproot the middle stump out of the ground. New Zealand can't have that 10-wicket emphatic win now, as they lose their first, but just a matter of fact only, as they have played brilliantly so far.  4/1
