Khalid Latif, a right-handed Pakistani opening batsman, made his first-class debut at a young age of 14, but made his mark on his youth debut in 2003. His biggest achievement came when he captained the Pakistan Under-19 side to a World Cup win in 2004. He then went on to score heavily in the domestic circuit, following which he was rewarded with a call-up to the Pakistan ODI side against Zimbabwe. He later captained Pakistan in the 2010 Asian Games but had to settle for a bronze after losing to Afghanistan in the semi-finals.
