Ziaur Rahman is a right-arm fast-medium bowler who has represented Bangladesh at the Under-19 level and also plies his trade for the Khulna Divison in the domestic setup.
A useful lower order batsman, Rahman made his first-class debut in the 2004/05 season. After impressive performances for his domestic side, he was called up to Bangladesh's T20I side in 2012 and he made his international debut against Ireland. Later that year, he was included in the T20I squad for the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka. In the same year, he was called up the ODI side for the West Indies series in place of injured Abul Hasan
