Fast bowler Shahadat Hossain has been banned for five years by the Bangladesh Cricket Board after he assaulted teammate Arafat Sunny in a national cricket league match.
Shahadat Hossain and Arafat Sunny had a face off during a National Cricket League match, following which Shahadat assaulted his teammate.
Police last year charged Shahadat Hossain and his wife Nritto Shahadat with assault and torture after the young girl was found crying by the roadside with her eyes bruised and swollen.
