Career Span |
Sri-Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep made an incredible entry in cricket by winning a softball contest in 2007. Thereafter, he was sent straight to Sri Lanka’s cricket academy and had his first encounter with the cricket ball at the age of 20.
Pradeep then toured Australia in 2010 as part of the Sri Lanka A team. He was also called into the Test team for the second Test against India though; he did not make his debut. A year later, Pradeep made his Test debut against Pakistan. Known for a similar slinging action as that of Malinga, he created trouble for batsmen in the domestic circuit. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought this Lankan pacer in 2011 for the 4th season of the IPL.
