Mohammad Anamul Haque Bijoy Profile

A right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, Anamul Haque made his first-class debut for Dhaka division in the 2008-09 season. He was part of the Bangladesh Under-19 squad in the U-19 World Cup held in New Zealand. Anamul also toured England with the Under-19 team in 2009 and was the Man of the Match in a youth Test against the Englishmen in the same year. Also an opener in limited-overs cricket, he was called up to Bangladesh's ODI squad for their series against West Indies after becoming the highest run-scorer in the 2012 Under-19 World Cup that was held in Australia, amassing 365 runs at a staggering average of 60.83 including two centuries. He was impressive on his ODI debut, scoring 41 to help Bangladesh register an easy win over West Indies and followed it up with a maiden ton in just his second outing, which also contributed towards a Bangladeshi win.
