Nicolas James Maddinson Profile
A hugely promising talent, left-handed opening batsman Nicolas Maddinson was a part of the New South Wales side that captured the Australia U19 Championships in 2009, before topping the batting averages in the home series against Sri Lanka U19s with 72. He was then included in the Australian side that competed in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in 2010. Nic is also a handy left-arm orthodox spinner. In 2012, he was signed by the Sydney Sixers for their inaugural Big Bash League, followed by the Champions League T20. In 2013, Maddinson made an impressive T20I debut in India, scoring 34 off 16 balls. Making his debut in the Indian T20 league, 2014, Maddinson was bought by Bangalore.
