Pakistan, well they are known to be unpredictable and that is what we have seen in this Test match so far. Their bowling was flat in the first two sessions on Day 1 and then suddenly came into life as Agha Salman bowled a brilliant spell along with Naseem Shah to pick six wickets at the end of Day 1. On Day 2, they would have hoped to wrap up the innings quickly and they did get three quickly but a century-stand for the last wicket left them frustrated and Pakistan would feel that they could have been in much better position in this game had they shown some patience and bowled on consistent lines and lengths to Henry and Ajaz after they got 9 wickets early on Day 2. The pitch though is still good to bat on and Pakistan would hope that their top order delivers here. Stay tuned for Pakistan's reply.

Finally, New Zealand have been bowled out for 449! However, the damage has been done as the last-wicket partnership has added 104 runs to the total and both Henry and Patel will be proud of their effort. Henry finishes with 68 not out while Ajaz Patel scored vital 35 runs. Earlier, Kiwis got off to a great start to the Test with Conway and Latham notching up a century stand. Conway also got to his century but once he departed things fell apart very quickly for New Zealand. Blundell held things together and then the last wicket partnership has taken them to a very competitive total here.
