7 OUT! TAKEN! Finally he strikes and Campbell goes back for a low score. Beautifully bowled by Lakmal and the first wicket has been snared very early on by the Lankans. In Suranga Lakmal's last over too, John Campbell had edged one too but the catch was not taken. Now, it has been gobbled up by Niroshan Dickwella. On a good length, around the off pole, the ball holds the line as John Campbell comes ahead, looking to block. 9 OUT! DRAGGED ON! Unlucky for Bonner but Lakmal gets his second scalp of the day. The centurion of the last game goes back for a duck and he will be very unhappy with his display here. Around off, on a good length, Nkrumah Bonner gets his bat across, possibly looking to defend. The ball shapes back into the right-hander, takes the inside edge and goes onto crash into the furniture behind.  15/2

27.3 OUT! CAUGHT! A good delivery from Fernando and a brilliant take from Dickwella. Vishwa bowls a full ball outside off, Mayers who was batting on 49 sees it as a scoring opportunity as he goes for the drive but without any footwork. The ball though swings a hint away to catch the outside edge and fly to the keeper who dives to his left to take the grab.  The umpire though does not give it instantly as he seeks the help of the third umpire. The Third umpire after looking at a few replays rules that Kyle Mayers is out.  86/3

37.2 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! You cannot keep Lakmal out of the game there. He gets his third and Dickwella does well to pouch it by going low to his right. Lakmal bowls a teaser outside off, Blackwood who, by this time, was going good decides to hang his bat out as he came on the front foot to defend. The slightest movement on the ball and the outside edge is found. Dickwella keeps his eyes on the ball, judges it by going low to his right, and takes the ball safely into his grasp.  120/4

48.1 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! First ball from Dhananjaya de Silva in his new spell and he gets the dangerous Jason Holder. Loopy and teasing the batsman to after it. Also, it bowled outside off, Holder obliges and goes for a drive. The ball though just about spins away and takes the outside edge which is snapped by Lahiru Thirimanne at first slip.  171/5

57.3 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Excellent from Dushmantah Chameera. His persistence pays dividends. Length ball in the channel around off, Joshua Da Silva, who likes to feel the ball on the bat goes flirting with the ball and in the process ends up poking at it. The outside edge flies to Niroshan Dickwella at a good height for him to grab it.  185/6

68.1 OUT! LBW! Lasith Embuldeniya gets his man and he redeems himself with this one as he had dropped Joseph on the previous over. Arm ball around off and middle, Joseph prods forward and looks to defend the ball but he misses and gets hit on the pads. An appeal and the umpire agrees and raises his finger. Ultra Edge comes in and the bat and pad are close and so the third umpire has a couple of looks at this. He decides that the ball hit the pad first. Ball Tracker completes the formality and shows three reds which mean that Alzarri Joseph has to take the long walk back. Seventh wicket down for West Indies.  222/7

99.1 OUT! TAKEN! Right after Drinks and Lakmal it is! He has been bowling with intent and has put in a lot of work on both days and finally, he is the one to break this stand. He is very happy and deservedly so. Hits the deck on a length, around the off pole and Cornwall looks to play it over the mid on region but gets the inner half of the bat. Vishwa Fernando is the man at mid on, and he jumps up and completes the catch. Now, Sri Lanka will be looking to grab the final two wickets and end the hosts' show with the bat.  325/8

109.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Roach's stay comes to an end. He would have wanted to stay until the Lunch break but a good delivery from Chameera means the end of the road. Length delivery, on the fourth stump line, Roach looks to defend it, but does so without moving his feet. Gets an outside edge to Niroshan Dickwella behind the stumps, who takes his 5th catch of the innings.  351/9

8.1 OUT! TAKEN! Brilliant take by Bonner at the third slip! This is another disappointment from Dimuth and he will be kicking himself as he goes back for the very low score of just 1. Length ball, outside off, and Dimuth is drawn into a drive. His feet go nowhere and he gets an outside edge. The ball is flying to the right of Nkrumah Bonner but he puts in a good dive and completes a stunner to remove the Sri Lankan skipper.  18/1

35.3 OUT! BOWLED! Roach gets the set man and he is delighted! He has bowled in the right channels and is rightfully rewarded. Length ball, outside off. Lahiru goes for the drive but only gets an inside edge back onto his pad and then on the stumps. Furniture shattered.  77/3

29.4 OUT! Umpire's call on hitting and West Indies have broken through! Full ball on off, the ball nips in after pitching. Oshada looks to defend it but is hit on the pads. Big appeal by Windies and umpire has given it. Oshada reviews this one right away. The Ultra Edge is flat and Ball Tracker shows umpire's call on hitting. Short ball targeting the head of Chandimal, Dinesh looks to take on the short one this time as he goes for the pull. He times the ball perfectly but does not get the desired height there as he hits it straight down the throat of the substitute fielder, Hayden Walsh at deep mid-wicket who takes the catch.  152/4

Floated on off and drifting on middle and leg, Blackwood looks to defend it off the front foot but fails to do so as the ball hits him low on the pads. Blackwood appeals and the umpire raises his finger. Dhananjaya de Silva does not even consult his partner as he walks off. He should have reviewed it as the replays show that the ball was spinning down leg. Sri Lankan coach, Mickey Arthur isn't impressed with Dhananjaya de Silva's decision to not review it.  177/5

106.4 OUT! TAKEN! Nissanka holes out. Roach gets the wicket. The short ball plan works to perfection for Roach. Banged short and around middle, Nissanka goes for the pull. 87.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Thanks to the alertness of Joshua Da Silva there. On his insistence, Kraigg Brathwaite takes the review. Holder lands one on a length and gets it to jag back into the left-hander there. Dickwella who looks to fend it off the back foot ekes out an inside edge which is pouched by Joshua Da Silva. They go up in an appeal but the umpire is unmoved. West Indies take the review and the Ultra Edge shows a spike when the ball is close to the bat. The on-field call is overturned.  203/6

90.2 OUT! CAUGHT! A sharp take from the West Indian skipper sees Sri Lanka lose their 7th wicket. Perfectly bowled from the West Indies pacer, Alzarri Joseph. He bowls one on a length and around middle, Lakmal looks to go downtown over mid on but fails to get the elevation and the ball scoots off the inner half of the bat towards Kraigg Brathwaite at short mid on region where he holds onto a sharp take.  214/7

97.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Holder gets his man. Lovely piece of bowling. Jason bowls it on a length and with a wobbly seam in the channel around off. Chameera has no option but to play at it. He though plays it off the back foot and ends up hanging his bat away from his body. The ball brushes the outside edge and goes onto settle into the mitts of Joshua Da Silva with ease.  231/8

107 OUT! Caught behind! Roach wraps up the Sri Lankan innings. His love affair with this venue continues. Roach bowls it in the right line and the right length. Length delivery on middle, Brathwaite looks to flick it across the line. He has hardly played anything of this sort until now. He looks to flick but the ball keeps low, goes underneath the bat, and goes onto hit the stump. Chameera gets his second.  227/4

6.4 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! There is clear spike as the ball passes the bat. Not sure why he took the review. If he had not nicked, he should've gone for the review straightaway. He spoke to his partner and then went for it. Only to waste the review. A good length ball just outside off, Campbell walks down the track and looks to defend. However, he misses and the ball goes behind. They all go up in appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Campbell has to go. But hang on. He is having a word with his skipper. He has gone for the DRS. Replays roll in and they show a big spike as the ball gets close to the bat. Waste of a review from him.  14/1

19.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Poor, poor shot from Blackwood. That was short and wide outside off, Blackwood looks to carve it over the off side and flashes the blade hard. Only to end up nicking behind. Dickwella makes no mistake. Sri Lanka break the stand in time. Blackwood was given a life in the slips not a long time back and he fails to utilize the opportunity.  58/2

44 OUT! LBW! The review does not save Mayers but he does not take away a review with him either. A very good innings from Mayers comes to an end. Lakmal, the workhorse, gets his 11th wicket of the series. He has been a tireless worker and deserves all the success. Good length delivery pitching on off and coming in with the angle. Mayers looks to hit it across the line and pull it over mid-wicket. Mayers though misses his shot and gets hit on the front pad. A huge appeal follows and the umpire raises his finger. Mayers has a brief chat with Brathwaite and signals the 'T'. Replays roll in and first, Ultra Edge shows no involvement of bat. Time for the Ball Tracker. It shows the pitching to be in line, the impact to be in line, and the ball hits the top of middle stump. It is the umpire's call on wickets hitting. Not good enough to reverse the on-field call but good enough to retain the review.  140/3

38.3 OUT! CAUGHT! The resistance has been broken and the bowling change has done the trick. It has taken a lot of time but finally, West Indies have found a way to break this resilient opening stand. A very good catch from Rahkheem Cornwall. Fullish ball outside off, Alzarri intentionally tempts Lahiru Thirimanne to go for the drive. Thirimanne falls in the honey trap and goes for it. The ball holds its line and catches the outside edge of his willow. Cornwall, standing slightly deeper at first slip, takes a very good catch. Jubilation for Alzarri and the rest of the West Indies player.  101/1

55.5 OUT! LBW! It looked plumb to the naked eye and it is plumb. Karunaratne departs after scoring an excellent and patient, 75. Mayers finally gets his man. He has bowled very well so far in this innings and he has got his reward. Mayers comes around the wicket and bowls it full on middle and off. This one comes back in to the southpaw. Karunaratne looks to defend but gets beaten by the reverse swing. The ball misses his pad and goes onto hit the Sri Lankan flush on the pad. The West Indies players go up in a confident and loud appeal. The umpire once again is convinced and he raises his finger. Karunaratne signals the 'T' after a quick chat with Oshada. Replay rolls in and Ultra Edge shows no involvement of the bat. Time for the Ball Tracker, it shows three reds. Karunaratne has to depart and he takes a review with him as well.
