LOCKIE FERGUSON IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH! That's all from this game! We had a terrific game and it is Kolkata who won the game in the Super Over. The action is not done yet as the match between Mumbai and Punjab has gotten underway in Dubai. Switch over tabs to catch all the action from that game.
For Kolkata, Morgan and Karthik walked out to the middle. Rashid Khan was the bowler, some tension as Kolkata were not able to find the gaps. But then, finally, Karthik tucked one towards fine leg off a leg bye and they sneaked in the winning runs.
In the Super Over, Ferguson bowled exceptionally well. He got Warner on the very first ball, conceded a couple in the second and snared Samad in the third. Just 2 runs Hyderabad could manage, losing their allotted wickets.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Warner had opted to field. His bowlers did well to keep a tight lid on the scoring rate and kept chipping at the Kolkata wickets. However, some good hitting from Karthik and Morgan towards the end saw Kolkata reach 163. The Orange Army almost chased it down. They tied it and it went to the Super Over.
Kolkata kept building on it when they snared Shankar later. Right, after that, it was Warner and Samad in the middle. Warner came in at No. 4 today and along with Samad, almost pulled off a heist. Hyderabad came back from nowhere and almost pocketed it but got just 1 run off the last ball when they needed 2. And thus, it went to the Super Over!
Another surprise as Garg walked in at No. 3 and not Warner or Pandey. But his stay was short-lived as he fell for just 4. Bairstow followed him back to the dugout in the very next over, with the score reading 70/3. Pandey fell shortly and Hyderabad were reeling at 82/4. Momentum had clearly swung back towards Kolkata.
Hyderabad had a new opening pair this game - Williamson partnered with Bairstow at the top. And that paid off well as Williamson was stroking the ball very fluently, with Bairstow at his usual destructive best. Hyderabad got off to 58 in just 6 overs. Then, Williamson fell after a quickfire 29 from 19 balls.
What a match that we have had in Abu Dhabi! Just terrific! This is what the Indian T20 League is known for and it has delivered another match which has blown us away. Kolkata, in the end, have managed to take the game away and have won it. Lockie Ferguson was the star with the ball in the Super Over as he reduced Hyderabad to just 2 runs and then the Kolkata batters needed to chase 3 which they did with ease.

Rashid Khan To Dinesh Karthik
A misfield gives Kolkata the victory! Flatter on the pads, Karthik looks to flick but it takes the pads and goes to short fine leg. A fumble means that Karthik makes it back for the second. KOLKATA WIN THE SUPER OVER!
