So that's it from all of us for this game, we hope you enjoyed our coverage of the game. It was a historic game for Bangladesh and they have now made it a memorable one as well. They will aim to carry this confidence into the shorter formats of the game. The first ODI between these two sides starts on March 25, 2017 in Dambulla at 1430 local (0900 GMT). We look forward to your company. Until then, it's goodbye and take care!
Sri Lankan skipper, Rangana Herath says that you don't get a gift on every birthday. Congratulates Bangladesh on the win. Adds that they could not capitalize as a batting unit. Opines that they need to improve in every aspect of the game in Test cricket. (On taking 1000 First Class wickets) Says that he feels good for now but is not sure how long will he last.
Bangladesh skipper, Mushfiqur Rahim feels that it was a great win. Credits the players and coaches for backing them. Adds that the spell from Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan were outstanding and hopes that this sets them well for future. He calls it frustrating to not make most of the chances under pressure in the first game but is happy that they are starting to get better. Calls it a team effort to win the game. Opines that this is the coming of age in Test cricket for Bangladesh as they have started to play consistent cricket. Hopes that they can carry on the good work.
Man of the Series, Shakib Al Hasan feels that it was a very important victory for them. Admits that it was difficult but he is happy that they did it. Opines that he gave a thought on his batting which helped him to score big. Also adds that he looked into Chandimal's batting which helped him a lot.
Man of the Match, Tamim Iqbal informs that the win started when they lost the first game. They had a meeting before this game and it was the game changer. Adds that all the players were brilliant, cheering the team on. On the chase, he says that they had to be aggressive chasing such totals. Opines that on such wickets one ball can take you out and that was what he and Sabbir talked about. Credits Mosaddek for playing really well. Adds that the coach always backs them to play their natural game and they are lucky to have someone like him.
Chasing 191, Tamim Iqbal led them from the front scoring a belligerent 82. He along with Sabbir Rahman calmed the nerves of the visitors with a 109-run stand. But both of them departed before Tea. Needing 35 more runs in the final session, it looked like it would be a walk in the park but that was not to be. Shakib Al Hasan was bowled. There were some nervous moments but the pair of Mosaddek Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim hit a few lusty blows to calm the nerves down and Mehedi Hasan finished the game off for them.
The hosts were always playing catch up since then and despite the ton from Dimuth Karunaratne, they were behind the eight ball. Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan ran through the middle order and it looked like the game might get over on Day 4 itself. The tail however wagged for Sri Lanka with the last three wickets adding as many as 102 runs to set up a target of 191.
A lot of the good work was done in the first innings itself both with the bat and ball. They kept Sri Lanka to a score of 338 with Dinesh Chandimal playing brilliantly for his ton. With the bat, it was Shakib Al Hasan who led them to post a total in excess of 400 and gaining a 129-run lead. Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mosaddek Hossain all chipped in with vital fifties.
BANGLADESH HAVE WON THEIR 100th TEST! What a brilliant Test match it has been and they have come out victorious. Historic scenes at the P Sara Oval, it is the first time they have drawn a series against Sri Lanka! They have had a lot of second innings failures in recent times but this chase of 191 runs should really boost their confidence as it has come against a good Sri Lankan side.

HISTORY at P Sara! Bangladesh win! Full toss in the line of the stumps, Hasan sweeps it through the square leg region for a couple. Rahim started celebrating the moment it passed the fielder there. Mehedi comes over to hug him with a huge smile on his face. Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by four wickets!

Rangana Herath To Mosaddek Hossain OUT!
OUT! Way too late this time! Floated outside off, the ball kicks off from the surface. Hossain tries to run it down on the off side but ends up getting surprised by the extra bounce as he edges it to the keeper. The players appeal and the umpire says yes. Hossain won't be the one to score the winning runs. He is disappointed to make his way back.
